Episode199: Husband Touches Minor and This Church Lets Him off the Hook

We need to learn from the mistakes of others. Oftentimes we feel like we're living in the movie Groundhog Day. We see the same stories repeat themselves over and over again. A story that one of our patrons sent our way from The Dr. John Delony Show is no exception. A wife and mother to a young child called in to say that her husband had inappropriately touched a 13 year old girl at church. What unfolded in the conversation was both mortifying and predictable. Not only did the church fail to report the abuse, but they let the abuser control the narrative the entire way. These gross injustices must be corrected. We've got to stop putting a microphone into the hands of the abuser and start calling the police. We HAVE to turn the tables on the abusers and stop making is so darn easy for them to abuse our children. In this episode, we talk about the four strikes this church had and what we need to do to correct these poor responses.
