Neste 13º episódio contamos com a participação do Prof. Pedro Antonio Dourado de Rezende do Departamento de Ciência da Computação da UNB. Tivemos a oportunidade de entrevistá-lo sobre o assunto “Teatro da Segurança”, termo cunhado por Bruce Schneier e que representa as ações tomadas pelas empresas para criar a sensação de segurança nos usuários. Ele opõe-se à segurança real, que é baseada nas probabilidades de ocorrência de incidentes. Há situações em que o “Teatro da Segurança” está alinhado com a segurança real; no entanto, os problemas começam a aparecer, quando não existe este alinhamento e as pessoas sentem-se mais (ou menos) seguras do que realmente estão. O Prof. Rezende aborda a questão sob vários aspectos, incluindo os aspectos econômicos, sociais, políticos, jurídicos e até mesmo históricos. Com isso, destaca-se o fato de que segurança da informação não resume-se apenas nos aspectos tecnológicos mas amplia-se e deve ser enxergada também sob estas outras óticas.
