El diseño no solo es un adorno, es un proceso de creación visual con un propósito el cual es comunicar un mensaje específico; para hacerlo de la manera correcta, el diseñador debe buscar la mejor forma para que ese mensaje sea conformado, fabricado, distribuido, usado y relacionado con su ambiente. Su creación no debe ser sólo estética sino también funcional. En la actualidad, los anuncios publicitarios son tan creativos y llenos de ideas innovadoras que los espectadores no siempre le dan el mérito a quien verdaderamente lo merece, y sí, es una realidad que para hacer un anuncio, no sólo se necesita una persona, sino de todo un equipo, pero quien transforma todas esas ideas y las plasma es un diseñador gráfico, quien es el encargado de que la magia ocurra. El diseñador es un profesional que maneja conceptos, códigos y estética, y que sus mensajes son estructurados, programados de una manera directa, clara, sin soluciones complicadas para poder ser fácilmente comprendido y absorbido por las audiencias a quienes se dirigen.
