Margarita Longoria (Edinburg, Texas) fights against borders and helps children and young adults finding ways to be proud of they roots as Mexican-Americans. Working at a library in Texas she edited the book Living Beyond Borders: Growing up Mexican in America (Viking 2022) that has been translated by Vintage Español with the title Más allá de la frontera (2022). It is a collection of essays, poems, and comics by several members of her community. Hers is a such a needed work to get together the voices of Hispanics in the United States.
