En un pequeño taller ubicado en Ponce, Puerto Rico dio comienzo un proyecto de emprendimiento creativo con el deseo de despertar la conciencia histórica de los Puertorriqueños y Puertorriqueñas a través de la educación y el arte. En 2019 la compañía Salón Boricua Creative Group, LLC fue certificada como parte de las Industrias Creativas de Puerto Rico y el mismo año formó parte de las Fábricas Culturales del Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña.
