This comedic opera, set in Venice in 1750, starts when 2 gondoliers find out one of them is the rightful king of Barataria. However, due to a childhood mix-up, they rule together until the true heir can be identified. They are also newlyweds which complicates the story even further but makes for great comedy!.The show will be performed at the NM State University Atkinson Recital Hall July 18th, and at the Univesity of Texas Fox Fine Arts Hall July 24-26 and July 31-Aug 2.
