Laura is back from her Viking River Cruise from Paris to Normandy, and she's bringing home plenty of stories!The cruise hosted 158 passengers, mostly Boomers, including a church friend Laura hadn't seen since high school.The trip was relaxing, the food was excellent, and Laura quickly embraced French culture with a cheerful "Bonjour!"—while learning that you're only supposed to say it once per day to the same person.After dinner each evening, Laura became a fixture in the ship's lounge. While she insists the lounge sometimes felt a bit like a nursing home, that didn't stop her from staying until closing time every night.
