Welcome to the show, Brian Owens. Brian is the artistic director of CalgaryFilm, Calgary's International Film Festival. This is his first year in this city but comes from a ten-year position in Nashville. He talks about how he got involved with film, why and how he started a film festival in Indianapolis (that is still running today) and how he feels about now being in Calgary. We talk about how the film festival industry has evolved since he started in 2004 and why he loves being involved with it so much.
