Eps 1. Creating a pawsitive owner

from The Dynamic Dog Owner · host Debbie Potter

Welcome to the inaugural episode of Potter Paws, a podcast dedicated to helping dog owners navigate the wonderful world of furry companions. We'll dive deep into building strong relationships with your dogs and overcoming the common struggles that arise along the journey. Because let's face it, we've all been there - feeling the pressure to be a "perfect" dog owner and expecting our dogs to be flawlessly well-behaved. But guess what? It's okay to have challenges. In fact, it's normal. I've personally experienced the embarrassment and judgment that can come from having dogs who don't always meet society's standards of behaviour. But I've also learned that embracing our imperfections and sharing our struggles makes us more relatable and ultimately, better dog owners. Throughout this podcast, we'll explore various topics to help you create a positive owner-audio. Our first tip? Limit the negative vibes. We'll discuss how to navigate situations and people who may make you feel bad about your dog or question your progress in training.   If you have enjoyed this episode, please give us a review and remember to subscribe! Let's build amazing relationships with our furry companions, set realistic goals, and approach dog ownership with a proactive and positive mindset. The adventure starts now.
