Eps 269: Do You Need a Certification to Coach?

from Mom Coaches Getting Clients

To be certified as a life coach or not has been a hot button topic for years now. It's like all the paths in life. There are pros and cons to both options so there really is no right or wrong answer to this question. All I can offer is my story of when I knew I wanted to offer coaching to moms and what my research and experience has brought to the surface. And how sometimes you simply need to create what you wish was available when you were in that season of your entrepreneurial journey.   In this week's podcast episode you'll hear:   My own research into coaching certification programs almost 13 years ago and what I landed on. How certifications are only really noticed by other coaches and what to focus on instead. How to see your niche mission statement as a post-grad thesis. You get to choose the curriculum. Being transparent in your scope of training and expertise. Instead of worrying about how your credentials compare to others be clearn on what you're not (ie a medically trained psychologist or therapist for example). Here's how to share how you're qualified instead.   Featured on the podcast:   Mom Coach School is opening its doors for new enrollment come this Saturday.
