Jilbab kembali dipersoalkan. Kali ini terjadi di SMAN 1 Banguntapan Yogyakarta. Narasi dan opini yang dikembangkan di media adalah adanya "pemaksaan jilbab" oleh pihak sekolah kepada siswinya. Padahal tak ada pemaksaan sama sekali. Demikian hasil klarifikasi Dinas Pendidikan, Pemuda dan Olahraga (Disdikpora) DIY ke SMAN 1 Banguntapan. "Tidak ada pemaksaan dalam memakai jilbab itu," kata Wakil Kepala Disdikpora DIY, Suhirman usai klarifikasi terhadap SMAN 1 Banguntapan di kantor Disdikpora DIY, Senin (1/8/2022).
