Baik tenaga pengajar perempuan maupun pelajar dan mahasiswi dipaksa melepas jilbab mereka saat memasuki lingkungan sekolah/kampus. Pelarangan ini disebut-sebut merupakan instruksi langsung dari Kementerian Pendidikan India. . Para Muslimah berjilbab di Karnataka bukan saja dilarang memasuki sekolah dan kampus. Mereka juga mengalami berbagai pelecehan dan intimidasi oleh warga Hindu. Sejumlah pemberitaan dan video yang beredar memperlihatkan berbagai persekusi yang dilakukan warga Hindu terhadap kaum Muslimah yang bertahan dengan busana islami mereka. . Sungguh miris keadaan ummat muslim saat ini terutama kaum muslimah. Apa yang sebenarnya terjadi? Mengapa tidak ada yang membela dan melindungi umat Islam?  .
