Epstein survivors accused Todd Blanche of effectively shutting the door on additional investigations during a tense meeting at the Justice Department. Although Blanche invited the women to provide the FBI with any new evidence they possessed, he reportedly suggested that the existing record might not provide sufficient grounds for further prosecutions and offered no concrete plan for examining unresolved leads, Epstein’s associates, or properties such as Zorro Ranch. Survivors said Blanche asked few, if any, meaningful questions and appeared more interested in completing a politically necessary meeting than in understanding what investigative avenues remained open.The women described the encounter as dismissive, demoralizing and deeply frustrating, with Annie Farmer characterizing Blanche’s manner as abrasive and condescending. Several survivors said they felt gaslit because they were once again being encouraged to produce more information while the Justice Department simultaneously implied that there was little left to investigate, despite the enormous volume of records and longstanding questions surrounding Epstein’s network.
