Would you like to submit a question? Sponsor an episode? A series? We'd love to hear from you: [email protected] Question 1 - 00:27 - how does one maintain Hishtavus / equanimity while relating to one’s spouse or business partner who is not living in the same sphere of equanimity? Question 2 - 08:18 - What is a woman’s role in Judaism in 2022? Has a woman’s role changed or was it previously misunderstood? Question 3 - 14:25 - Why shouldn't Jews, specifically observant Jews, be moving to Israel en masse in this day and age? As we pray 3 times a day for Hashem to take us back, to gather the exiles. Not to say we have merited the complete redemption yet, but is there a meaningful reason that Jews shouldn't be going to live in the Holy Land? How can one pray such words without feeling hypocritical? Question 4 - 17:52 - The Gemara / Talmud Avoda Zara 4b-5a says that Dovid Hamelech / King David was brought to the incident with Batsheva and Klal Yisroel / the Jewish people were brought to the incident of the Eigel / the golden calf in order to teach us Teshuva / how to reclaim our relationship with G-d. Rashi and other commentators explain that the normal protection against such a grave sin was held back. How is this to be understood? Why were they responsible for the golden calf if it was not their fault? Question 5 - 24:37 - If one has already been through many of the compositions of the students of the Baal Shem Tov and wants to enter into more hidden dimensions of Torah, what would that process look like, and are there any good introductory books to understanding the language of the AriZal in his sefer / composition “Eitz Chaim”? Question 6 - 28:34 - How does one strengthen their Emunah / faith in Hashgacha Pratis / Divine providence in a way of Da'as / integrated knowledge, as opposed to emotionally by way of stories, moifsim / miracles stories, and weird coincidences? The aforementioned doesn’t last, it only lasts until the next Farbreingin / Chasidic gathering or shiur / lecture... Question 7 - 34:41 - How are Tzadikim / transcendent people infallible? Are Tzadikim infallible? Why should I trust a Tzadik / a transcendent person and what they’re saying? Do I trust them since they’re great or that which they are saying is great I.e. true? If it’s the latter, can i discount those parts of a Tzadik’s teachings that aren’t exactly “true”? To submit a question or to sponsor an episode email [email protected]
