Originally from California, Halliday-Sharp has built a life that spans across continents, primarily residing in Ocala, Florida, and Lexington, Kentucky. Her eventing career has seen her compete and succeed at the CCI5* level. Beyond the equestrian fields, she also made her mark as a professional racing driver, tackling the sportscar and GT endurance disciplines with notable success, including participation in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans. Following her retirement from racing Liz refocused her energy solely on eventing, rapidly ascending through the levels and accumulating wins on multiple rides. Liz's accomplishments include being named the USEA Rider of the Year in 2020, the first woman to receive this honour in nearly four decades.
