Equine Insight & Agricultural Advocacy with Elaina Enzien
from Sustain the Range · host Lauren P
On this episode I talk with Elaina Enzien, horse trainer and owner of Gelinas Farm and founder of NZN Horsemanship in Pembroke, NH. Elaina has been a lifelong student of the horse, starting her journey at Gelinas Farm when she was six years old. As a teen and young adult she had the opportunity to study under some of the greatest horsemen and women in the country. Elaina has the innate ability to meet horses and riders where they are, allowing them to feel comfortable and safe to succeed at their own pace. Elaina also has a Bachelors in Sustainable Agriculture and a Masters in Agricultural Science and we talked about everything from horsemanship and horse training to direct to consumer beef production and her work with the extension service where she helped promote sustainable regenerative farming practices. Elaina was such a joy to talk with and I loved getting to know her. Join us for this amazing conversation!
