EQUINOXAST #106 By David Kawka (CHE🇨🇭)

David Kawka, born on 16 January 1992 in Biel (CH). He grew up in Switzerland but has roots from Poland. David first discovered his passion for music at the age of 15. At the beginning of his music career, he played EDM. Within a short time, David gained his first notoriety and was able to perform at major events all over Switzerland and internationally. At the same time, David started his own production work and set up his own events under the name "Most Wanted". 2012 was David's most successful year. With many bookings, a label contract and several track releases under the then artist name "Kawkastyle". David was also resident DJ at the Wankdorf Club as well as Liquid Club in Bern and OXA in Zurich. La crème de la crème of the past scene in Switzerland. He also played at big festival venues: Touch the Air, BEA EXPO Extravaganza, Greenfield and many more to name a few. Some time later, David had to make decisions that led to a break and he had to overcome private hurdles before he concentrated fully on music again. After this difficult time, he focused more on producing and learned a new side. In the meantime, his musical style has changed to techno, deep & tech house. Today, David owns his label "Solidarity Entertainment Switzerland", which he founded in August 2021. The community is growing and he has also been able to draw various artists under him. The challenge of finding the perfect balance between music and events is easier said than done. However, he is happy to work for the environment and fellow human beings in the long term and to draw positive effects from it.
