EQUIPPED: Rooted

Before we go any further in this series, we hit pause and read John 15. Here's why - In John 15, Jesus points our attention to our root and our source. If we skip over the root of hope, life, light, power, and change - and jump straight to the output (or fruit) of our lives and our actions - we will wither over time. In John 15 Jesus reminds us that he is the root and the vine, and we are the branches.
