This is a story about a boy named Leo, who has “selective mutism” and a girl named Richa, who moves in next door and is a talkative girl of the same age as Leo, who develops courage and friendship through dancing. This is the first Japanese translation of a children's book by Camilla Chester, a British children's literature author. In this story, Leo and Richa express their feelings that cannot be expressed in words through dance, and a great friendship grows between them. Please listen to the program and make it one of your summer reading books. Also, at the end of the program, I, Yuko Fujiki, have an important message for our listeners. Please listen to the end of the program.
