Trigésimo primer programa dedicado a la temporada 1984-85 de la NBA en el que continuamos el repaso de la fase regular. Analizamos a los Los Angeles Lakers; tanto las expectativas como el desarrollo del curso, los movimientos en la plantilla, el ataque y la defensa, los jugadores, las estadísticas individuales y colectivas, y algunas curiosidades. Tras un mal inicio, Pat Riley ajustó el quinteto titular y lideraron el Oeste hasta el parón del Partido de las Estrellas; de ahí en adelante fueron el equipo más destacado de la liga. Acabaron con el segundo mejor balance de la fase regular. Magic Johnson y Kareem Abdul-Jabbar fueron los más destacados del equipo y entraron en los quintetos «All-NBA». James Worthy y Byron Scott se encargaron de anotar y dar espectáculo al contraataque. Michael Cooper y Kurt Rambis realizaban del trabajo sucio. Ayudaron al equipo Bob McAdoo, Mith Kupchak, Mike McGee y Larry Spriggs. Se lesionó la rodilla Jamaal Wilkes a mitad de curso y eso acabó con su carrera.
