En este analizamos a los Washington Bullets; tanto las expectativas como el desarrollo del curso, los movimientos en la plantilla, el ataque y la defensa, los jugadores, las estadísticas individuales y colectivas, curiosidades, y mucho más. Moses Malone fue el mejor del equipo de largo, aunque su llegada, junto con Terry Catledge, no impulsó al equipo tanto como se esperaba (no obstante, su balance fue mejor que en cursos precedentes). Tampoco los rookies John Williams y Anthony Jones reforzaron al equipo según lo previsto. Hubo otros jugadores nuevos como Jay Vincent, Darwin Cook y Ennis Whatley. De los que seguían, el más destacado fue Jeff Malone, con Charles Jones sumando en tareas de albañilería y fontanería.
