Eric shares a blast from the past, recounting how they met back in the early 2000s, bonding over home improvement shenanigans and a bit of drama from their television days. The nostalgia is real, folks! But don’t worry, we’re not just here for birthday celebrations. Eric swiftly dives into some pressing home issues, like recalls on household products. Spoiler alert: it’s not just your average stuff; we're talking about hot pressure washers and sketchy gas cans. Seriously, who designed a gas can that doesn’t work? Now, let’s get down to the nitty-gritty of home renovations. Ever wondered how long a kitchen or bath remodel really takes? Eric takes a stand against those absurd claims of ‘two-day remodels’ and ‘five-day kitchen transformations.’ Yeah, right! He breaks it down like a pro, explaining the real timelines that come with these projects. From demos to inspections, you can forget about quick fixes if you want quality. He’s all about keeping it real, warning that a good bathroom remodel can easily stretch to a month. And kitchens? Don’t even think about it being less than six weeks.
