Eric Mateos Tests Badgers' Line | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

Eric Mateos is bringing Wisconsin’s offensive line into a new era of physical, tough-minded dominance — and he’s already making waves. Known for turning struggling units into forces, Mateos is ditching the spread offense for a gritty, identity-driven style that fits the Badgers perfectly. He’s already earning praise from his staff for his intelligence, creativity, and ability to teach — and even flexing on rivals like Minnesota. The real test? Week one against Notre Dame’s elite defensive front, with key players sidelined and a young, inexperienced line stepping up. If Mateos’ coaching magic holds, it could be the foundation of a breakout season — or a brutal early-season wake-up call.
