OvercomeHQ is a personal development organization that is grounded on a foundation of faith and stoic philosophy. Our mission is to lead, inspire and drive people to become a better self, specializing in areas of life, leadership, career, and financial development. Our vision is to eventually become a fully function nonprofit organization with a philanthropic heart that will be able to support the local community by offering college scholarships to young leaders. What gave you the idea for your business and how did it start? For many years I have known that I wanted to start my own business, and since serving in the military, I found myself being drawn into to leadership, I found a passion in leading and mentoring young people. Additionally, for many years I struggled with addiction while facing many challenges, and on October 10, 2016, I found my faith, and after exploring what I truly wanted to do in this life, I realized that serving others and bringing encouragement to people who may not have hope in the moment. This is one of my greatest gifts and want to share it. What’s your favorite thing about your job? Watching others grow as they realize that there are people out there willing to support them, while walking by their side through trouble and trying times and seeing their faces when they finally “get it”.  - Listen to Episode for MORE.
