Altijd bezig met voetbal, het team, de club. “Het gaat altijd door. Daardoor heb ik een arm sociaal leven. Maar je krijgt er ook veel voor terug.” Over de hoogtepunten van zijn tijd bij Ajax: “De wedstrijd tegen Real Madrid voor de Champions League 2019 zit nog heel erg in mijn hoofd. Het elftal klopte van alle kanten. Daar zat zoveel voetbalintellect in, zoveel balbeheersing, zoveel teamspirit.
