Erin Dittmer Pt. 2: Battling Wellness Misinformation Online, Health Policy, & Pseudoscience's Impact on Women

from And World Peace · host Maggie Gehlsen-Burnett

Erin & Maggie sit down to discuss misinformation online in the wellness space, how politics plays a role in our health, and how these topics disproportionately impact women.  Erin is a mom of two, content creator, and business owner. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health, an MBA, and previously worked as a wellness coach and childhood nutrition educator. Before having kids, she spent years teaching nutrition lessons to elementary school students through the SNAP-funded Pick a Better Snack initiative. The program is designed to influence children’s food choices by helping them become more familiar with fruits and vegetables, learn fun ways to eat them and increase their overall consumption at school and at home. She is passionate about improving social determinants of health, namely: education quality and access, affordable housing and neighborhood safety, economic stability, health care, and social policies that uplift our communities.  Follow Erin on Instagram: @allinspiredwellness, Tiktok - @erin_dittmer, & at erindittmer.com.
