W 2023 roku Eryk Goczał wygrał Rajd Dakar w kategorii lekkich samochodów SSV. Kierowca Energylandia Rally Team miał wtedy 19 lat i został najmłodszym zwycięzcą tego najbardziej wymagającego rajdu na świecie. 3 stycznia Eryk Goczał stanie ponowie na starcie Dakaru. Pilotowany przez rajdowego mistrza Europy Szymona Gospodarczyka będzie ścigał się w najbardziej prestiżowej klasie samochodów. „To jest też klasa, o której całe życie marzyłem… Teraz startujemy już z najlepszymi kierowcami na świecie Sebastienem Loebem, z Nasserem Al-Attiyah, którzy miażdżą powiedzmy historię Dakaru” – przyznaje Eryk Goczał z którym rozmawiał Wojciech Marczyk z redakcji sportowej RMF FM.
