Es probable que en 2023 se vendan menos de 200.000 viviendas en Colombia

Mauricio Hernández, de BBVA Research, presenta las principales conclusiones del informe Colombia | Situación Inmobiliaria 2022 subrayando la importancia del sector de la construcción para la economía, no sólo en términos de producción (representando el 13,5% del PIB nacional), sino también de creación de empleo. Destaca además que, a pesar de la desaceleración progresiva de la construcción desde el 2016, y la no recuperación completa en el periodo pospandémico, el sector sigue teniendo unos niveles de actividad elevados, vendiéndose el año pasado casi 240.000 viviendas. No obstante, ha atravesado unas complicaciones -como los costes o la menor demanda- que llevarán a que durante 2023 probablemente se vendan menos de 200.000 viviendas, por lo que en este sentido serán muy importantes las decisiones de política pública.
