Escaping domestic violence, red flags and finding support

from The AJNashville Podcast · host AJNashville / Jeff Pirie / Lacey Sadler

We are finding that domestic violence is all more common than we would like to believe or think. Just because it seems to be common does not make it right. Let me be very clear, there is nothing that is ok with domestic violence. Men and women are able to hide their hurt hour after hour and day after day. A lot of victims are among us yet we are blind to what they are going through. They may be a friend, relative, co worker or even a stranger that you tip your head to in passing. In a lot of cases there are red flags that survivors see but did not identify until after the fact. In this episode we speak to one survivor and find out what some of those red flags were.
