ESCRS eConnect Academy: Current trends in IOL power calculations - 15 February 2023 The need for better postoperative results and patient expectations undergoing cataract surgery has increased significantly over the last two decades, leading to major advances in ocular biometry and IOL power calculations. Although these improvements have been remarkable, they are still suboptimal in some cases. The aim of our webinar is to provide information on the latest technologies used in modern measuring devices and innovations behind current IOL calculation formulas. The problem of biometry and IOL power selection after corneal refractive surgery and in patients with keratoconus will also be discussed.
