ESD 3 to honor original Stockdale EMS members with commemorative plaque

Wilson County Emergency Services District 3 (ESD 3) will honor 13 individuals who helped establish ESD 3’s predecessor, the Stockdale Emergency Medical Services (EMS), with a plaque. Stockdale resident Johnny Akin presented several historical items to the ESD 3 board of commissioners July 20 that were discovered while cleaning out a family member’s home, said ESD 3 Chief David Rice.
