Hice una publicación en Instagram, divulgando los resultados de un estudio reciente en población sedentaria, donde se veía que entrenar 2h30/ semana en ZONA 2 era insuficiente estímulo para generar adaptaciones relevantes. Un entrenador cuyo trabajo y criterio respeto mucho (y quien os invito a seguir en YouTube por los fantásticos vídeos con reconocimientos de carrera que hace), Rober CORREMONTES, contestó a mi publicación, invitándome a reflexionar. Su comentario venía a decir que es arriesgado extrapolar los resultados de un estudio concreto y promover protocolos de entrenamiento concretos para toda la población y bajo cualquier circunstancia. Precisamente porque aprecio su criterio como entrenador con amplia experiencia, me pregunto si ésa es la percepción que se tiene de mi labor divulgativa de la ciencia del deporte... Yo quiero hacer la ciencia accesible para la gente que no puede acceder a ella por la razón que sea. No quiero simplemente "hacer ruido" en redes sociales para conseguir colaboraciones con marcas o vender mis productos/ servicios, porque de hecho ni colaboro con marcas ni vendo nada... En fin, éste es el debate: ¿cuál es la percepción que existe sobre mi labor divulgativa? ¿Empodero a la gente, traduciendo la ciencia de otro modo inaccesible, o promuevo recetas simples que incluso son peligrosas si las aplicas ciegamente?
