ESPECIAL WILLIE MABON James Willie Mabon nació un 24 octubre de 1925 en Hollywood, Tenessee y falleció el 19 abril 1985 a la edad de 59 en Paris. Fue un cantante de R & B, compositor y pianista. Nuestro protagonista se crió en Hollywood, Memphis y Tennessee, ya era un cantante y pianista conocido en el momento en que se mudó a Chicago en 1942 tras dos años en el ejército. Formó un grupo, los Blues Rockers, y en 1949 comenzó a grabar para el sello Aristocrat, y luego para Chess.
