Miriam's youngest daughter, Karen, was taken by the cartel and even though the Rodriguez family payed the ransom money, the cartel did not return Karen. Miriam then took it upon herself to find those responsible for her daughter's disappearance. On this episode, Cristina tells Carmen about the case of Miriam Rodriguez and at the end, they read a listener story.
