Essential Geopolitics: Western Water Shortages, Winners and Losers

from The Decision Advantage · host RANE Network

In this episode of the RANE Essential Geopolitics podcast, powered by Stratfor, Emily Donahue speaks to Stratfor Director of Analyst Operations at RANE, Rebecca Keller. The drought in the western United States is likely to last at least through the fall of 2021. And rain may not end the conditions there that have been building for 20 years -- such as density, higher temperatures, and changes in rain and snow patterns. The drought is so extreme, that the US Bureau of Reclamation recently declared a water shortage on the Colorado River. We discuss the impacts of that decision.
