Esther 2: From Humble Hadassah to Exalted Esther

What was Esther 2 really about: a fairytale, a beauty pageant, or something much darker than the movies let on?After Xerxes loses his war with Greece and comes home to an empty throne, his advisors cook up a plan to distract him: a kingdom-wide search for a new queen.
