Esther 5-7

The book of Esther is a powerful story about ordinary people placed in extraordinary circumstances, where God works behind the scenes even when He seems completely silent. Esther, a Jewish queen in Persia, risked her life to stand before King Xerxes and expose a plot to exterminate her people. Her courage was rooted in prayer, and her faithfulness was faith in action. Haman, the man who engineered the destruction of the Jews, ultimately met the very fate he had planned for others. Even when evil seems to be winning and God seems distant, He is still in control. His silence is never His absence, and His delay is never His denial. Like Esther, we are each placed where we are for a purpose, even when we cannot see it. Take the next faithful step, pray first, and trust that God is working all things together for good.
