Este relato ha sido usado durante siglos, para enseñar la inmortalidad del alma, y los sufrimientos eternos en el infierno. Pero en este estudio demuestro, que lo que la mayoría cree esta mal. Pues el alma es mortal. (Ezequiel 18:4). Además, Yahoshúa nunca utilizó la palabra infierno. Y mucho menos el rico sería atormentado para siempre. El relato no dice cuanto tiempo iba a ser atormentado. Ahora bien, lo que pasa con el relato, es que Yahoshúa utiliza el concepto que tenían lo fariseos de lo que ocurría después de la muerte, sin utilizar la palabra alma. Para concluir, les debo decir, que en este relato hay tres enseñanzas claras de las cuales hablaré en la conclusión del estudio.
