The Russia/Ukraine war have caused market volatility and concerns around the global supply of oil and natural gas. Russia makes up up for 10% of crude oil supply and banking sanctions have meant that the vast majority of it cannot be touched.  Increasing energy prices equate to increasing demands on energy companies to increase both drilling and the number of oil wells they have. XOP provides exposure to oil and gas production and exploration.
