Ethics Bowl Competition and Abraham J. Briloff Prizes in Ethics

Two events take place: the final round of the first ever Ethics Bowl at Baruch College (and the winning team awarded $600) as well as the awarding of the Abraham J. Briloff Prizes in Ethics. For the ethics Bowl, two teams debate ethical scenarios. Sarah Ryan, a lecturer in the School of Public Affairs hosts the debates. Judges include members of the Baruch community and invited guests, including Randy Cohen, author of the Ethicist column in the New York Times Magazine and Peter Vallone, from the New York City Council. For the Abraham J. Briloff Prizes in Ethics, Baruch benefactor and alumnus Charles R. Dreifus speaks about the awards and Dennis Slavin, Associate Provost introduces the Briloff prize winners: Kirsten Jansen, Don Plunkett and T.K. Das.
