Ethics play an important role in preserving oral history. In this session, Daulat Hawaldar (IAS) discusses the key ethical considerations involved in documenting oral histories. The session was part of a workshop on the documentation of the folklore and oral history of the Konkani community, organised by the Government of Goa through the Goa State Audio Visual Archives and the Department of Archives, in collaboration with the Thomas Stephens Konkani Kendra, Porvorim.
