EU Treaty talks, Animals in Need, Resiliant Minds, Hottest Winter Day

The next official round of EU Treaty talks resume in London, but we know that some of the negotiations have already taken place over social media app WhatsApp. We discussed the topic with news Editor Christine Vasquez.The Animals in Need Foundation is struggling to keep up with the number of dogs who need re-homing. The charity has met with the Environment Minister John Cortes to discuss a wishlist for change. Eugenie Cottrell and Gill Jones joined us in the studio.Childline is running a "resilient minds" programme in schools, starting as from today. The initiative has been funded by the GBC Open Day Trust and it aims to empower students from year 2 to year 7, with skills to navigate life's challenges effectively. Childline CEO Caroline Carter and the charity's community coordinator, Ines Veríssimo told us more about the programme.And, yesterday was the hottest day ever recorded for the winter period since records began in 1947.
