European Guidelines for Assessment and Management of Neurogenic Bladder

This document presents new guidelines, called NEUROGED, developed by European and international neurological and urological societies to aid practicing neurologists in the assessment and management of urinary and sexual symptoms arising from neurological conditions. Employing a rigorous evidence-based approach, the guidelines offer recommendations for diagnosis, evaluation, and various treatment strategies, emphasizing a multidisciplinary perspective and highlighting when referral to specialist urological care is necessary. The ultimate aim is to improve the quality of care for individuals with neurological disorders experiencing these often-overlooked issues.
