Europese Commissie wil ontsnappen uit "wurggreep" van big tech

Voor zo ongeveer alles wat we online doen, zijn we afhankelijk van big tech-bedrijven uit Silicon Valley. De Europese Commissie presenteerde woensdag een plan om aan die wurggreep te ontsnappen en Europa weer 'digitaal soeverein' te maken. Daar hangt wel een fors prijskaartje aan: een slordige 800 miljard euro per jaar.
