This week, I talked about Costco hot dog live, Connor McDavid's 1,000th point, Darnell Nurse being hurt, Kasperi Kapanen being claimed, and much more.I kicked off this week's episode of BLTN by recapping the response to my idea about how many days I could live on nothing but Costco hot dogs before getting bored. From there, I spent a few minutes talking about how annoying and disappointing the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight was, and how the whole night was basically saved by the undercard.Turning the podcast back to the Oilers, I started the news with a conversation about Connor McDavid's 1,000th point, and how that milestone was so bananas that I need to keep talking about it. Even though we've gotten so used to McDavid's brilliance at this stage, I will never stop beating the drum of asking people to enjoy what they're watching because it's anything but normal. I also touched on the recent eastern Canadian road trip, the team claiming Kasperi Kapanen off waivers, Darnell Nurse's injury, and everything else that's going on with the team.Finally, I wrapped up this quick episode of BLTN with a Righteous Sack Beating about whining on BlueSky before wrapping up the show with another round of voicemails.
