Evangelism Fundamentals Part 1

We live in a time where there is, sadly, much confusion and lack of knowledge about the Gospel and how we truly come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Much of this has been done through confusing language and methods that have easily satisfied people with a false faith that avoids them from dealing with their sin and truly abandoning themselves through full surrender to the Savior through the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit. This first of a three part series will begin to look at methodology in evangelistic practice by considering the case of Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch in Act 8:26-36. The second part of the series will examine many of the theological underpinnings of the Gospel message and what is to be understood and experienced by a lost individual before they come to faith in Christ.
