Evans Switches to Vanderbilt

Allen Evans, a top-100 cornerback and cornerstone of Louisville’s 2027 class, has flipped his commitment to Vanderbilt — a major blow after previously choosing the Cardinals over Alabama and Michigan. Standing 6’2” and weighing 182 pounds, Evans dominated at Trinity High School and earned All-American honors. He’s the third decommitment in two weeks for Louisville, joining a defensive lineman and a WR/Safety, bringing the total to five departures this cycle. But the Cardinals are still pushing forward, adding five new commitments in June — including a QB, OL, RB, LB, and safety — bringing their 2027 class to 16 players. Ranked among the nation’s top 30, the class features multiple four-stars and remains a strong foundation for the future. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
