Even When It Feels Small, It Still Matters to God

from Quiet In The Night · host Bill Scott

Even When It Feels Small, It Still Matters to God Sometimes the smallest things feel invisible—your quiet prayers, the acts of kindness no one else notices, the tears you wipe away in silence. It can feel like they don't make a difference. But to God, nothing is too small. He sees every hidden sacrifice and every gentle act of love. Jesus said, "If you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded" (Matthew 10:42, NLT). God's heart is moved not by the size of what you do, but by the love behind it. The widow who dropped two small coins into the temple treasury gave more than anyone else because she gave from her heart (Mark 12:41–44). What seemed small to others was great in God's eyes. Your whispered prayer, your small step of faith, your choice to forgive, or the quiet way you love someone—these are treasures to Him. Nothing is wasted. So, take courage. The little you offer today matters in the Kingdom of God. And He promises to multiply even the smallest seed of faith into something beautiful. "Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin" (Zechariah 4:10, NLT).
