When the Israelites saw it, they asked one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. Manna kept the Israelites alive but couldn’t defeat death; Jesus gives life that death cannot touch. The call to seek first His kingdom frees us from anxious striving because our Father already knows what we need.
