Evening — December 31 — Joshua 13:1

Now Joshua was old and well along in years, and the LORD said to him, “You are old and well along in years, but very much of the land remains to be possessed. — Joshua 13:1Spiritual maturity is not a destination reached in this life but the ongoing expansion of a life rooted in the finished work of Christ. Every command to press on, add virtue, or possess the land is an invitation to live from the grace already secured. There is always more of Christ to know and more of the inheritance to occupy, not to earn favor but to enjoy the favor already given.
